I'm passionate about food and I want to help women make the best choices without feeling deprived.
As a nutrition consultant and coach I will not tell you what you should or should not eat....
Instead I want to empower you by providing information and tools so you can adjust your diet according to your individual circumstances.
My passion for food comes from my Italian heritage, my mother was an incredible cook and I was very lucky to be able to learn from her.
I become interested in holistic nutrition and the healing properties of foods to help manage a chronic condition, called Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis (D.I.S.H.) and I've been successful at maintaining my mobility without medications. Realising how important diet is for our health and wellbeing I decided to become an online nutrition coach to be able to help other people reach their full potential.
Why The Joy of Eating?
I chose the name The Joy of Eating because I feel that we are so focused on eating so called healthy foods that we've lost the joy of eating. When we look at our plate often we just see calories, macros, points.
I want to help women reclaim the Joy of Eating, through wholesome food that sustains our body but also our spirit, feeling nourished instead of deprived.
I believe that eating a wholefood diet, nourishing our body with plenty of delicious natural foods is the best way to look after our health. I follow a positive non diet approach, adding delicious foods that you enjoy eating rather than exclude foods that are supposed to be 'unhealthy'.
